I took my 1 year old Standard Schnauzer (SS), Chloe, to Georjeans Pet Grooming for her first official “haircut”. We had taken her to have her feet, face, fanny trimmed but were usually disappointed because she was uneven or set aside because she was time consuming. We chose to keep her ears natural so we did not think the normal Schnauzer cut would look good on her so when I arrived at Georjeans, I met with Leslie. She was GREAT!
Leslie took the time to spend with Chloe and watch her behaviors, look at her then current condition and discuss our options. She was very informative about the pros and cons of each of our options. Before Chloe’s session, she almost looked like a sheep dog and we had grown accustomed to that look on her. I left Chloe for the day not really knowing what to expect but, when I picked her up she looked beautiful!
Leslie had to design a cut for Chloe that was right for her and it was right on target. Leslie took the time to discuss how she groomed and worked with her. Since this was Chloe’s first real grooming session, Leslie had to take a lot of time outs with her and worked on some behavioral issues as well. Her comments were not critical of Chloe but very informative and appreciated. She is apparently the “typical SS puppy” who is very energetic, independent and playful. I will only take Chloe to Georjeans in the future because she looks so good and I appreciated the time taken to groom her on a very busy Saturday. I would highly recommend Georjeans Dog Grooming if you want a cut that fits your dog and want someone who really knows what she is doing.
